We're Free Parking, a group of young musicians from the University of Maine. We find ourselves at the intersection between the sophisticated and uptight jazz world and the loose and frankly, much more fun, world of college parties. And so you'll often find us playing anything from CASIOPEA to ABBA to Grateful Dead.

We started playing together in 2023, busking on Portland streets when the parking was free. Since then, we've played plenty of house shows and college events around the University of Maine. But now we're looking to expand our scope beyond the college scene and into the real world.

Max is a graduate of engineering and avid sound engineer, often being the reason we sound so good. Some of his musical inspirations include Michael Brecker and FORAGER.
Autumn is the leading lady on the microphone. She loves plants, jazz and creating fun and eccentric outfits to wear for shows. She organizes a lot of our events and runs our instagram and email. Some of her favorite artists include Mei Semones, TILAR, FORAGER, Stevie Wonder, and Aretha Franklin.
Wayne is a graduate of mathematics and enthusiast of creativity. He mixes rock and other heavy influences with our jazz roots in the hopes that our music appeals to a wider audience.
Isaac is a graduate of jazz studies and currently pursuing a forestry degree. Some of his musical influences include Jaco Pastorious and Joe Dart.
Owen is a graduate of jazz studies. Some of his musical influences include Nate Smith, Noah Furbringer, and Yussef Dayes.
Zach is a multimedia creator and avid musical composer. Some of his many musical inspirations include Herbie Hancock, Cory Henry, and Anatole Muster.
